Schools Arts, Craft, Painting & Poetry Competitions 2025

The Lagos State Government, in collaboration with the African Coconut Heritage Initiative (Africoco), Badagry Local Government, Olorunda, and Badagry West LCDAs, is pleased to annouce the Schools Arts, Craft, Painting and Poetry Competitions as part of the activities marking the 12th International Coconut Festival (Agunkefest 2025).

This special segment of the festival is designed to inspire creativity among young learners while promoting the cultural and economic importance of the coconut within Lagos State - particularly in the Bdagry region, renowned for its rich coconut heritage.

• Venue: Olorunda LCDA Secretariat Multipurpose Hall, Iworo

The competitions will feature talented students from various schools, showcasing their skills in:

• Visual Arts

• Craftwork

• Coconut-Themed Painting

• Poetry Performances
